I called about five different tile contractors to redo our shower. 2 never answered their phones or returned my calls. 2 took my information and photos, then ghosted me. Only Rob (Tessera Contracting) seemed interested in my business.
Unlike about every contractor I’ve dealt with, the communication was there from start to finish. Before he started, we worked up a schedule in the form of a calendar so I knew every day that he’d be working on my contract. The job started as scheduled and finished as scheduled. He even followed up two or three times after the fact for quality control and also the check the status of the shower door (different contractor).
Overall, probably the best “dealing with a contractor” experience I’ve had.
The quality of the work is excellent too – markedly superior to the tile walk in shower we had done some years ago in our master bath.
