Tessera was built around a simple idea: tile is a craft, not a product. The cuts, the layout, the substrate underneath — every step matters more than the brand of tile on the wall. We take one project at a time and stay on it until the last piece of trim is set.
The shop
No rotating crews, no apprentices learning on your bathroom, no subcontracted hand-offs. The same tradesman walks the job, builds the quote, and sets the tile.
How we work
- Substrate first. Cement board, waterproofing, slope, and movement joints get the same attention as the visible surface. Half of tile failures start under the tile.
- Layout before mortar. Every install is dry-laid first. Cuts get planned around focal walls and fixtures — never left to land on a cabinet edge.
- Fixed-price quotes. Professional in-home consultations. The number we quote is the number you pay, barring scope changes you authorize in writing.
- Local accountability. Based in Port Angeles. We service what we install. Same number, same person, same shop.
